Ennio Capasa's hypertailored take on the classic suit jacket for A/W 2000 has a fitted silhouette, with structured shoulders and narrow lapels. Interestingly, the designer has opted for an unusually structured and heavy calf leather, which gives the jacket armour-like structure. Over time, it will break in like an old motorcycle jacket. The leather has also been polished to give it a pronounced shine.

The high button stance further complements the sharp silhouette. The waist pockets are angled with curvilinear flaps, echoing the jacket's somewhat rounded front edge. The cuffs are finished with four spaced buttons and the back has a double vent. The interior has one pocket and is fully lined in viscose satin. Note the strong topstitching that reinforces the shoulder, back and sleeve seams.
